Enjoy them on the go, as a post-workout snack, or just when you want to reach for something sweet – our Easy Energy Power Bites are as versatile as they are delicious.
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp POWER GREENS
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup ground flaxseed
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- ½ cup peanut butter
- ½ cup date paste (see date paste note below)
- ¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
- ½ cup 'extras': mini chocolate chips, seeds, chopped nuts, dried fruit
For the Date Paste:
- 15 dates

Directions:
- For the date paste: Soak dates in hot water for 10-15 minutes. Puree dates until a paste forms, adding the date water as needed. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix oats, ground flaxseed, POWER GREENS, cinnamon, nutmeg & sea salt.
- Add peanut butter, date paste & vanilla. Mix well until a dough forms. *If dough is too wet, add more flour, if too dry, add more peanut butter or some water.*If you prefer sweeter balls, substitute date paste for honey or maple syrup.
- Mix in the 'extras'. Roll into balls and freeze or refrigerate. *Or you can press into a square baking dish to make energy squares instead of balls.
Yield: Approximately 15 x 1 ½" balls
